Last weekend Club Da Place in Mamboleo
re-ignited the African mood by hosting a sizzling gig dubbed ‘The African Juice’,
an amazing experience never seen before in this part of the country.
The party was hosted in conjunction with Radio
Jambo with Fingaworks DJ Peter Adams backed up by resident DJs Daggy and VJ
Klutch.
The party brought together ‘Who is Who’ in
town with their African taste of dressing being the talking point for the
night.
Club CEO Kennedy Angwen told this blog that he
is elated by the huge attention the club is receiving not just locally but the
ever growing online followers is a clear indication that Club Da Place is
hitting the global scene.
Those who graced the occasion have continued
to give positive feed backs about the show from Sunday 7th August
indicating that they didn’t just enjoy the music but it was an opportunity to
have a conversation on how to preserve our rich African heritage.
The most influential MC in the country Jalang’o
of Radio Maish kept the crowd cheered up with his funny jokes that blended well
with the great mix of music the DJs played.
This was a show worth your time but if you
