The
new king of decks DJ Joe Mflame landed in Kisumu last weekend and true to his
words he didn’t disappoint during his ‘Take Over’ party at Club Da Place in
Mamboleo.
The
visit by DJ Joe Mfalme came at a time when the lake city is at its peak hosting
major shows presided over by the biggest names in Kenya’s entertainment industry.
The
‘Take Over’ concert that was presided over by Jalang’o as the MC was attended
by who is who in Kisumu County that included the flamboyant MCA for
Market-Millimani ward Edwin Anayo, high flying rhumba DJ and fashionist Fofona Bangali among others.
Some
of the biggest concerts that have been held in Kisumu in the last 6 months include;
the Ferre Gola show, the White party at Club Da Place, Miss Bum Bum and of course
the Pacho festival.
The
CEO of More Money Crew that also owns Club Da Place Kennedy Angwen told this
blog that 55% of the major shows that have been held in Kisumu have been staged
at Club Da Place and that only shows the confidence showbiz organizers have in Club Da Place.
He
said the DJ Joe Mfalme show was just a tip of the iceberg and that high profile
shows have been lined up as we head to the close of the year.
“If
love Africa and appreciate its culture then August is your month, watch this space
because Club Da Place has something special for you.” Said Angwen.
ENDS.
